Rachael Krieger, Senior | Grand Valley State Lakers Women's Golf
Rachael Krieger, a senior on the Grand Valley State women's golf team, has been named the GLIAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the second time this fall. The announcement was made by the league office.
Krieger contributed to Grand Valley State's victory at the Nemacolin Intercollegiate earlier in the week, finishing tied for fourth place. She posted scores of 77, 76, and 77 over three rounds and recorded nine birdies during the tournament. This season, Krieger has achieved four top-five finishes out of six tournaments, including a tie for first place, a runner-up finish, and a third-place result. She is currently ranked 35th nationally by Scoreboard and has played a role in helping her team achieve a fifth-place national ranking.
Earlier in the fall season, Krieger received GLIAC Women's Golfer of the Week recognition after finishing as runner-up at the Bulldog Fall Invite and tying for third at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite during that same weekend.
