Charlie Cooley, a senior on the Grand Valley State men's golf team, has been named the GLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week. The announcement was made by the GLIAC office.

This marks Cooley's first time receiving this honor from the conference. He secured his first career victory at the Nemacolin Intercollegiate, where he contributed to Grand Valley State's team trophy win. Cooley recorded a total score of 208 after rounds of 73, 68, and 67, finishing eight under par. Over three rounds, he made 14 birdies and moved up the leaderboard on the final day to claim victory.

Cooley is currently ranked second in the country and has achieved three top-10 finishes this fall season. His performance has played a significant role in helping Grand Valley State maintain its position as the top-ranked team nationally.
