Grand Valley State University's men's and women's diving teams are preparing for their final home meet of 2025, following a successful weekend against Northern Michigan. The Lakers will host the University of Indianapolis on Saturday, November 1 at 1 p.m. at the GVSU Pool.

Last weekend saw several pool records broken in both swimming and diving events. Carter Wood set a new record in the 1-meter, six-dive event, surpassing a mark that had stood for over a decade.

In last season's matchup with Indianapolis, Grand Valley State's men's team lost 130.5-167.5, while the women's team ended with a tie at 150-150.

Head coach Andy Boyce commented on the upcoming meet: "We have been preparing for this weekend's meet as usual, and we hope to see our swimmers and divers compete at a high level against a team ranked right next to us in the national polls."

The meet will be available via live stream. Fans can follow updates on Instagram @gvsuswimdive and X @gvsuswim, or use Meet Mobile for additional information.
